We are really happy to announce our newly launched project – www.designrails.com. Design Rails will be a platform to discuss and share our thoughts and ideas related to design, process and work practices that Engine Active use on a daily bases. We will discuss everything from CSS design tricks and tips to Ruby on Rails and more.

For the launch we have posted a two part series that walks through getting a Mongrel cluster (Rails application server) and Nginx (the http server) up and running.

Although, this series may be a bit on the technical side for some, watch out for the graphic design related articles where we will discuss subjects like 'Getting the most out of everyday design on the web' and 'How to make solid table–less CSS styled web forms'.
